Great Public and Private Schools - From Preschool through Bowling Green State University

Since its establishment in the early 1800's, the community of Bowling Green has placed special emphasis on the education of all its citizens, both young and adult. As the city grew and thrived over the years, its residents continued to make the investments necessary to build the best schools staffed by the highest quality educators possible.
This is the primary reason that by 1910the institution known internationally as Bowling Green State University was founded.  With the recent decision by its citizens to build a new, state of the art Junior High School and Auditorium, as well as the significant expansion of BGSU's campus facilities and student enrollment currently underway, Bowling Green's legacy as a center for educational excellence continues.
